We are delighted to announce that the Liberal Education Student Conference (LESC) is to be revived after five long years. LESC 2024 is organised by students of University College Freiburg, Germany cooperating with Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań, Poland. The conference will be held on 9-11 May 2024 in Freiburg and its theme is “Liberal what?” Liberal Education: Rethink and Reconnect.
The LESC is a conference for students to exchange on our Liberal Education programs. It is a significant opportunity for students to rethink and reconnect in the evolving landscape of Liberal Arts and Sciences, both locally and globally.
LESC 2024 is expressed by four topics:
– Integrating Liberal Education with Individual Journeys
– Students and our impact on communities
– How history created modern society
– The future is interdisciplinary
To register, students need to write a paper, no more than 600 words, responding to one of the conference topics. The registration deadline is March 15, 2024, 23:59. ECOLAS will provide support for travel costs of those students who were selected upon submitting their papers.
